President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema of Gabon and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria are among the leaders expected to attend the upcoming Africa CEO Forum scheduled to take place in Kigali in May 2026.
The forum will bring together business executives, investors and political leaders from across Africa and around the world to discuss economic development and investment opportunities on the continent.
More than 2,500 participants are expected to attend the two-day event, which will take place from May 14 to 15, 2026 at the Kigali Convention Center.
Among the high-level participants announced are the Prime Minister of Mozambique, Maria Benvinda Levi, the Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, Robert Beugré Mambé, and the Prime Minister of Guinea, Amadou Oury Bah.
The forum will also host prominent leaders from major financial institutions and companies, including Makhtar Diop of the International Finance Corporation, Abdullah Almusaibeeh of BADEA, Sidi Ould Tah of the African Development Bank, Serge Ekue of the West African Development Bank, and Jean-Guy Afrika from the Rwanda Development Board.
Other expected participants include Diane Karusisi, CEO of Bank of Kigali, and Nigerian business magnate Aliko Dangote, chairman of Dangote Group.
The Africa CEO Forum is a major annual gathering that rotates among African countries. Rwanda will host the event for the third time, having previously organized it in 2019 and 2024.
The forum is organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group in partnership with the Swiss company Rainbow Unlimited, which specializes in organizing large international economic conferences.
It brings together influential leaders from Africa’s private sector, including top executives, major investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs. Companies eligible to participate are typically those with annual revenues of at least €20 million.
