APR WVC defeated Kepler WVC in the first playoff final match, boosting their chances of winning the Rwanda Volleyball League title.
The match was played on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Petit Stade Amahoro during the final playoff games for the Rwanda Volleyball Championship.
Earlier matches determined the third-place winners in both the men’s and women’s categories. In the men’s competition, Kepler VC defeated Gisagara VC by three sets to one to secure third place. In the women’s category, Police WVC beat RRA WVC by three sets to none.
In the women’s final, APR WVC dominated the first set, outperforming Kepler WVC and winning it 25–16.
APR also started the second set strongly, although Kepler WVC, led by player Mario, tried to reduce the gap midway through the set. However, APR WVC maintained control and won the second set 25–20.
In the final set, Kepler WVC attempted to fight back, but APR WVC proved stronger and secured the set 25–21, completing a straight-sets victory.
The playoffs are played in a best-of-five format, meaning the first team to win three matches will be crowned the Rwanda Volleyball League champion.
