FC Bayern Munich knocked Real Madrid CF out of the UEFA Champions League after a thrilling 4–3 victory in the second leg of their quarter-final, sealing a 6–4 aggregate win.

The match played in Munich produced high drama, seven goals and a late red card as Bayern secured a place in the semi-finals.

Madrid took an early lead through Arda Güler in the opening minute, but Bayern quickly responded when Aleksandar Pavlović equalised in the sixth minute.

Güler struck again in the 29th minute to restore Madrid’s advantage before Harry Kane brought Bayern level in the 38th minute, marking his 50th goal of the season.

Just four minutes later, Kylian Mbappé fired Madrid back in front, giving the Spanish giants a 3–2 lead at halftime.

The turning point came late in the match when Madrid substitute Eduardo Camavinga was sent off in the 86th minute, leaving his side with ten players.

Bayern capitalised on the advantage as Luis Díaz equalised in the 89th minute before Michael Olise scored deep into stoppage time to seal a dramatic victory.

Olise’s outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award as Bayern booked a semi-final clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
