Bukayo Saka has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal, committing his future to the club until 2030 and strengthening belief in a bright era ahead at the Emirates Stadium.
The Hale End academy graduate joined Arsenal at the age of seven and has grown into one of the Premier League’s most influential players. Under manager Mikel Arteta, Saka has become central to the team’s identity, combining creativity, intelligence, and relentless work rate. With nearly 300 appearances and 77 goals, he has already built an impressive legacy yet at just 24, many believe his best years are still to come.
The 2023/24 campaign underlined his importance. Saka delivered 20 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, driving Arsenal into a fierce title race. Although the league crown slipped away, his performances confirmed his status among the competition’s elite. Since Arteta’s appointment in 2019, no Arsenal player has featured more regularly in the Premier League.
This season has also seen Saka take on greater leadership responsibility. In the absence of captain Martin Ødegaard, he has worn the armband, leading by example both on and off the pitch.
Speaking after signing the new deal, Saka shared his emotions openly.
“This is a special moment for me and my family,” he said. “I feel so happy to continue my journey here. Arsenal is my home.”
He added: “I just hope to win everything here. The next few years can be historic. We want to win trophies and make history for this club.”
For supporters, those words reflect both ambition and loyalty. From academy prospect to team leader, Saka’s story with Arsenal continues and with his future secured, the focus now turns to transforming promise into silverware.
