Iran has launched a large wave of missiles targeting Israel, triggering air raid sirens across the country, including in Tel Aviv.
According to Israeli police, the strikes left at least six people with minor injuries. One of the missiles, reportedly carrying around 100 kilograms of explosives, hit Tel Aviv, causing significant damage to buildings and vehicles.
In northern Israel, falling debris from intercepted missiles destroyed several homes, highlighting the intensity of the ആക്രമണ even where air defenses were active.
The attack comes just hours after Donald Trump claimed that “very good and productive” talks had taken place between the United States and Iran, suggesting progress toward a broader peace agreement.
Trump had also announced a delay of planned US strikes on Iranian power facilities, expressing optimism about a “complete and total resolution” of the conflict.
However, the latest missile barrage underscores the ongoing volatility in the region and raises questions about the status and credibility of the reported diplomatic efforts.
