The United States military has released the identities of the first American service members killed since the outbreak of the new conflict between the United States and Iran.
Six troops died after an unmanned aerial system breached air defenses and struck a U.S. military command facility at Port Shuaiba in Kuwait on Sunday.

U.S. Central Command (United States Central Command) had initially reported that three service members were killed in the attack. However, officials confirmed on Monday that the death toll had doubled.
According to military authorities, one additional service member succumbed to injuries sustained in the strike, while two more bodies were later recovered from the debris.

The six troops are the only confirmed U.S. military fatalities since the United States, alongside Israel, entered into the renewed hostilities with Iran.
The attack marks a significant escalation in the conflict and underscores the growing risks facing U.S. forces stationed in the region.
