Ukraine Strikes Russian Military Factory Using British Missiles

The President of Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukrainian forces carried out a major strike on a Russian military facility.

Ukraine used Storm Shadow missiles to attack the Kremniy El military factory located in the Bryansk Oblast.

Zelenskyy said the factory was producing advanced technological components used in Russian weapons, including missiles.

“These missiles are used to attack our cities, our towns, and our civilians,” Zelenskyy stated.

The government of Russia reported that six people were killed and 42 others injured in the strike.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov claimed that the attack would not have been possible without assistance from British specialists.

“To prevent the continued terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, Russia has decided to carry out special retaliatory strikes,” Peskov said.

The war continues at a time when the United States and its allies are pushing for efforts aimed at ending the conflict.

Among the proposals being discussed is the possibility that Ukraine could relinquish control of territories previously under its authority, including the Donbas region, which consists of Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast.

Russia currently controls nearly 80% of the Donbas region, while Ukraine has firmly rejected any proposal that would require it to give up the territory.
